Which Magazine Cover Would I Like to Appear on with My Family?

In an effort to catch up on the Ultimate Blog Challenge I’m participating in this month, I decided to do a quick post on the suggested topic for a personal blog. Personal Blogging Idea: If you (or your family) were to be on the cover of a magazine, which one would it be and why?




If my family and I were on the cover of a magazine it would be Fibromyalgia Aware Magazine, because I have Fibromyalgia and my passion is to increase awareness and acceptance. I am incredibly blessed to have a very supportive family, even though it has taken many years for them to understand what I’m going through with Fibromyalgia.




Fibromyalgia actually affects my entire family. My husband and children must be more patient, more intuitive, and more empathetic than the average family. When I miss a special event, whether it is a wedding, a birthday, a choir concert, or whatever, it hurts the people around me (and me too). My family members are the people who face the disappointments of things I’m unable to do or trying to help with a pain that no one can really remove.




As a result, I think that my family and I should grace the cover of Fibromaylgia Aware Magazine created by the National Fibromyalgia Association. Well, except that I actually shy a little away from having my picture taken at this point in my life. One little fear that I really need to eliminate is feeling comfortable with my picture being taken again.


My oldest daughter, on the other hand, would probably love to grace the covers of any fashion magazine or a dance magazine. She has dreams of being a model, loves to dance, and genuinely loves having her picture taken. 


I have no idea what magazine cover my husband would like to grace the cover of, probably none of them, maybe a video game magazine or camping magazine or something. 


My younger daughter would probably prefer a camping or gardening magazine cover. We just put together a garden for my youngest daughter today, which I will be showcasing in my next post tonight, as I desperately try to catch up in the Ultimate Blog Challenge!
