My Top 10 Favorite Fibromyalgia Blogs

A few days ago, I created a list of my top ten favorite informational websites about Fibromyalgia that ended up being fairly popular. Today, I’m focusing on my top 10 favorite blogs about Fibromyalgia as of this moment.

Because I only have a limited time on the computer that I can handle, I may have missed some great Fibromyalgia blogs!  If you have a Fibromyalgia blog, please feel free to comment with your link!

I will eventually add a page with all of the Fibromyalgia blogs that I can find, but for now I’m listing my top ten favorite Fibro Blogs.

1.  Inspired Living with Fibromyalgia

I admit it, I’m biased! This is my blog about my life with Fibromyalgia and my attempts to stay inspired and positive.  I share the people, stories, quotes, and the things in my life that inspire me. I also share information about Fibromyalgia.

2. Cranky Fibro Girl
Hilarious, fun, irreverent blog about dealing with Fibro, my favorite section has to be “You Know you have Fibro if…” or maybe the section on “The Cranky Girl Manifesto” or the blog posts themselves.  I love that she unabashedly says anything she wants with a great sense of humor and helps make dealing with such a crappy illness a little bit funny.
3.  Felicia Fibro

This is an incredible blog that a friend just recently told me about, that I hadn’t heard of before.  I haven’t had the chance to read the entire blog, yet (I will-I love it so far), but it is one of the most positive inspiring blogs I have ever seen about dealing with Fibromyalgia.

4.  Fibromyalgia-It’s a Real Pain

From the perspective of a fellow Fibromyalgia Warrior, this blog contains many wonderful posts not just about coping with Fibromyalgia, but actually thriving in life with it.    I’ve been silently following this blog for a few months and have really enjoyed the posts I’ve read.

5.  Human in Recovery

Another blog from a fellow Fibromyalgia Warrior, this one delves into the journey of recovery from Fibro and other issues in a realistic and personal level that I find myself relating to on many levels.

6.  Breaking Through the Fibro Fog

Dr. Kevin White writes for this blog and has been an advocate for Fibromyalgia for about 20 years.  His Fibromyalgia articles are insightful and right on the mark.  This is one of the few Fibromyalgia blogs I follow that isn’t actually written by someone with Fibromyalgia, but his years of experience with it certainly shows.

7.   Fightin The Fibro

Another Blog written from the perspective of a fellow Fibromyalgia Warrior, this blog shares the thoughts of the daily life with Fibromyalgia with the true spirit of one facing struggles and overcoming obstacles at your own pace.

8.   Counting My Spoons

This is another blog that I found recently, and already love.  Written by the ultimate Fibro Kitty (like a Fibro Warrior-I guess), this blog is a common sense, can do, positive approach to living with Fibromyalgia.

9.   My Foggy Brain
Another wonderful blog about Fibromyalgia, of course, that also really focuses on the cognitive issues (the ominous sounding Fibro Fog) many of us face.  This author is truly “celebrating life with Fibromyalgia, major depression, and ADD.”

10.   Fibro Files

This blog is a fantastic resource for information and articles that can keep you up to date on current Fibro treatments, medical opinions, and more.  This is another one that I found recently and finally started to follow, because I keep going back and visiting it.

If you are looking for Fibromyalgia blogs, a great place to look is http://fibrobloggerdirectory.blogspot.com/. I’m hoping to be added to this Fibro Blogger Directory soon.

Again, if you have a Fibromyalgia blog that I've missed, please feel free to add it in the comments!

  1. Awwwwww thanks!!!!! I might not even have known except while trying to distract myself from a migraine two nights ago, I started looking at the search terms being used to find my own blog and came up with some really cool surprises about where I rank on Google. Today I am again trying to distract myself and tracked back to your blog. Pure serendipity! Thank you so much for your sweet comments and for following my blog! Tanya aka It's a Real Pain :-)
