1. Fibro Center (sponsored by Pfizer)
Pfizer is a pharmaceutical company that makes Lyrica (one of the
medications commonly prescribed for Fibro). They created and sponsored
this Fibromyalgia website. Although I don’t love that it was sponsored by
a pharmaceutical company, I do think the information and graphics are fantastic
and would be really helpful, especially to someone just starting to learn about
Fibromyalgia.
2. National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA)
The NFA has worked since 1997 to provide support for people with

conferences, puts on National Fibromyalgia Awareness Week, and publishes
Fibromyalgia AWARE magazine.
3. National Fibromyalgia Research Association (NFRA)
The NFRA is a nonprofit organization that helps fund research and
physician education, works to raise public awareness, and lobbies the
government to get more funding for research and recognition. This group has
also created an exercise video for Fibro patients.

Chronic Pain Association (NfmCPA)
The NfmCPA is a nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting
people with chronic pain illnesses and their families and friends by continuing
education, networking with support groups/advocates, and affiliation with
professional organizations.
6. H.O.P.E. Helping Our Pain and Exhaustion, Inc.

and families, the public, the media and the medical community about fibromyalgia

7. Fibromyalgia.com
Has a lot of great articles and a community forum.
8. Pain.com
Although this website isn’t dedicated specifically to
Fibromyalgia, it does have a lot of articles about pain management techniques
and if you do a search on Fibromyalgia, there are a few articles specifically
about Fibro.
9. American Chronic Pain Association
(ACPA):
Since 1980, the ACPA has offered peer support and
education in pain management skills to people with pain, family and friends,

you to better understand your pain and work more effectively with your health
care team toward a higher quality of life.
