One of my friends recommended that I try Six Word Saturday and Quote Saturday, because it's a fun way to meet bloggers. I love quotes and I love playing with words, so it sounds like the perfect challenge for me.
Six Word Saturday:
Six Word Saturday is hosted by Show My Face. To participate, all you need to do is come up with a six word phrase that describes you, your life, or something about you. You can add an image, a video, a song, nothing, whatever you want to further explain your phrase.
I've been trying for the last two hours (off and on) to come up with a six word phrase that describes me that I like and seems authentic, true to me, and expresses something important.
This is a challenge for me, as my followers can surely attest I tend to be a little bit wordy. I want my first Six Word Saturday to really represent me and the challenges I'm going through and the main goal of my life. And of course within seconds of writing that last sentence, I know exactly what my first six word phrase needs to be!
Here is my six word phrase about me:
Fibro Warrior Fighting for Inspirational Life
"Fibro Warrior Fighting for Inspirational Life" is honestly the main theme of my blog and my life. I also added the Eye of the Tiger video by Survivor, because it's the ultimate fighter song and although it's older it always make me want to dance.
I will try to participate in the Six Word Saturday frequently. I find playing with words and word choices to be a lot of fun and really appreciate the challenge of sharing a part of myself in a simple, truthful way in exactly six words.
Quote Saturday:
Everyone who follows me even slightly regularly knows that I LOVE quotes. They inspire me more than sunny days, joyous laughter, bright smiles, crazy antics, and so forth and so on.
In short, I find quotes to be inspirational, so when I was told I should check out quote Saturday, I thought "how perfect for me!" For quote Saturday, I'll just share a few of my favorite quotes that I might illustrate in the future if my muses decide to visit.
